This run starts in the Yellow car park at the Metro Centre and follows the Derwent Walk to Consett. It is marathon distance.
There will be a brief stop at the Blackhill Tesco for refreshments at the half way point.
There are toilets at the Swalwell Visitors Centre, Land of Oak and Iron Cafe on the Derwent Walk, and at the Metro Centre.
We will be going for food in the Metro Centre after the run for anyone interested.
This event does not have an official permit but is covered by club insurance and is attended by a first aider.
