This run is in memory of Jo Gardiner, who sadly died of cancer a few years ago at a young age. She was District Commissioner of Newcastle Scouts and set up Byker Scout group. This run is to raise funds for cancer charities. Please make a donation to the NEMC account.

There is the option of beginning the run with the Jesmond Dene parkrun. Otherwise meet at Pet's Corner/Cafe, Red Walk, Newcastle upon Tyne NE7 7BQ.
Parking: You can park either on that bank or go all the way to the bottom, where you turn left to enter the car park inside Jesmond Dene. You can pay using your phone.
The marathon distance is 4 laps of the route.
