Hosted by Ashington Hirst Running Club, AHRC, all surplus monies will be going to Ashington Life Centre. First Aid company and toilets on site. Sweets, pop, water each lap with medal, sweets, pop, water, crisps at the end. Park at the old coop building (less than 10 min walk from start) Reiverdale Road NE63 9YY.
There will be a collection for the Life Centre food bank at the event.
2.6 mile laps of Ashington Community Woods. As many or as few as you want between 10:30 and 16:30. 10 laps (plus an extra bit) is a marathon.
If you want to enter a team, any number from two upwards, you will be welcome. Late entries and entries on the day available subject to entry limit not being reached. All such entries will be charged at £25.
Course will be well marked, is on good compacted gravel 95%, marshalled for first few laps. Road shoes are fine.
NEMC is becoming increasingly sustainable by no longer using disposable cups at our non-competitive events. You are asked to bring your own cup or bottle, which we will fill for you. If you choose not to bring your own, we can sell you one for £2 and give that money to WaterAid.
